Operational, durable, dependable platform
The Re’em J79 armor kit has been tested for durability at NATC for 10,000 miles, and ballistic performance at NTS Chesapeake and the IDF, before being deployed and is currently operational with Special Forces on various missions. It is a rugged, versatile vehicle with high mobility and mission adaptability built to defeat threats up to STANAG L2, utilizing Plasan Re’em light weight
solution (52-60kg/m2 multi-hit 25mm between shots).

Protection and mission orientation
The Re’em unique add-on armor design is a 100% coverage, 360 degree protected capsule to defeat ballistic as well as explosive threats. The armor add-on is designed to defeat hand grenades (roof and floor - two grenades each) and IED’s as well as kinetic projectiles to customer specifications.

Highly maneuverable and internal transportable
The Re’em add-on armor design with its structural reinforcements integrates with the J79 virtually unbreakable chassis, power-train to conform a durable, high mobility vehicle that can perform military duties while blending in with its covert appearance. The Re’em armored J79 is equipped with high performance suspension, wheels assemblies, skid plates and optional differential lockers to overcome the off-road challenges derived from the mission profile. Its suspension retraction system, which lowers the vehicle’s transportable height, has been tested and approved for internal transportation within CH47 and CH53 helicopters.

Low visibility covert appearance combined with high payload capacity
The armored J79 is a very low visibility operational vehicle that is ideal for Special Forces covert operations as well as low profile logistical support missions. The structural strength and automotive upgrades, in addition to the versatile rear open cargo bed, makes for a perfect high mobility, high payload howler.
